50 More Androids In 2010
by CompTech on Feb.09, 2010, under New Technology
Though Android seems to have a great future, it still has a tough competition from Symbian and Apple (applications). It is well known Android got its initial push from cell phone manufacturing and application developers, and has a long way to go to get to the actual market of mobile phone users. But things may look much easier in the coming year in 2010 as a number of android-powered handsets are set to be brought to the market.
This year, 2009, 10 Android devices were launched in the market and in 2010 about 50 Android devices are going to be out by various companies. 50 surely is a good number.
Here is a Quick List of Expected Android devices in the year 2010:
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 may be out in the first few months in 2010.
Sony Ericsson too may introduce Android devices.
Acer and HTC will also launch five to six Android devices early in 2010.
Once Droid hits the sales figures, Motorola will also join the club and introduce a few Android mobiles (if you didn’t know, Motorola Droid has recently been awarded the Times Gadget award and device of the year award- which makes Droid look promising ahead). So the list has Acer, Sony Ericsson (SE), Motorola and HTC.
And if the Google mobile phone really happens (the supposedly picture of it has already been leaked out), we will see yet another Android supporter. Early this year Samsung had announced that it would launch Android phones for less than $ 100 in 2010. With so many Android phones in the market, the prices of these are surely going to get reduced to a large extent.
Well, 2010 seems to store some good thingsa lot for the mobile phone market and its users; also for Android as 2009 was a year with many highs and lows. Let us see how true this all turns out to be .
